Generally, before people go to the doctors, they wait two or even three weeks as they arent sure if it will be worth going as if its just a cold it will shift in a few days. This means that there is a delay in the results that are gathered, and this can be seen by the results from not just our school, but over the country. Absences peaked just before the christmas holidays and then since we have come back to school have started to fall again. It obviously isnt helpful that we where off over christmas so there is no absence data, but what we can conclude from the results is that there is a delay from the when our data peaks and when the doctors data peaks.
