What’s going to happen with that data?

First it will be collected anonymously so that other schools and the public will not be able to identify your school or child. Absence data will not be shown on a per school basis. It would only be available as part of regional data. Any identifying remarks will be removed by a team of moderators.

The data will be used as part of this national study and the academic paper that will be written as a result. Your school will be credited as a co-author and you will have sight of the paper before it gets submitted for publication. All data will be collected and stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
